For the last few years I have talked about running a marathon. I don't know what started the desire, but maybe just to say I did it and a sense of accomplishment. And that is what it has been - just talk! Until now....kind of. My sister in law Shaunna ran the St. George Marathon last year, watching her cross the finish line was the push I needed to accomplish my desire to run a marathon. Shaunna, Scott (my little brother), Mike and I signed up to run the Ogden 1/2 Marathon.
This run is my warm up race for the St. George Marathon in October. Shaunna and I will be running this one together. I am excited and nervous all at the same time. I am so proud of all of us, we did AMAZING! Now, on to bigger and better - or longer and harder races!

Go Julie!! You guys are awesome.
WAY TO GO! You're seriously amazing for doing this. I hear that running is addicting, but I am so FAR from that. You did great...and good luck come October. My and my fat self will come cheer you on. :)
not sure why you want longer and harder races to run! I think this categorizes you as CRAZY, but I'm really proud of you too! Way to go! Now for the Midnight 5K in two weeks, this will just be for fun, since you have marathon in your blood. :)
That is awesome! I wish I could get addicted to running...maybe someday! But you are going to do great come October!
Seriously, WHAT can't you do?! You are so talented Julie!! Congrats on the run and definitely envy you for the running ability :)
